Soukra showcases Tunisian designers and entrepreneurs through their specialized collections in apparel, home decor, specialty foods and skincare, and celebrates the people, places, and products of Tunisia.
Soukra (pronounced /sou:krɑ; sou, like “too” – kra, like “bra”) is named after the Tunis suburb La Soukra.
Flaÿou’s chess set features original designs with strong Berber influences. Now in a brilliant neon blue with matching pieces, this board reflects the shape and style of the Sejnane region’s traditional pottery, where artisans have worked with clay for more than 3,000 years.
